A clearer way to shop for records

Compare vinyl record prices across stores.

VinylData checks public independent record stores and puts their available listing prices in one place. It makes it easier to compare prices for the record you want while keeping the pressing details that make listings different.

The workflow

Search, compare, verify.

The result is a starting point for a purchase decision, not a replacement for opening the store listing.

01

Search a record

Enter an artist, album, or UPC. Use the narrower artist or album match when you already know what you want.

02

Compare compatible listings

VinylData compares the public storefront data it can find and keeps meaningful pressing differences visible.

03

Open the source

Check the retailer page for the final pressing details, condition, shipping, tax, and availability before checkout.

What the data means

Evidence should stay legible.

A listing can look like a match because the artist and album are the same, while the release itself is different. Strong identifiers such as a UPC or catalog number help establish a better comparison. When the evidence is weaker, VinylData keeps possible matches separate so you can inspect them yourself.

Prices shown in the search experience are public item prices. Shipping, tax, currency conversion, and final availability may change the total at checkout. Read the store listing before buying.

Public storefronts

A focused starting set.

VinylData currently searches public pages from these independent record stores. Store markup and availability can change, so the search reports when a source is unavailable.
