These Terms of Service govern your use of VinylData, a public vinyl listing comparison service. By using VinylData, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Using VinylData

VinylData lets you search public record-store pages and compare listing information in one place. You may use the service for lawful personal or business research. You are responsible for the searches you submit and for following the rules that apply to any third-party site you visit.

Comparison results

VinylData reports active listing information that it can find from public retailer pages. Prices, currency, condition, availability, pressing details, and product pages can change or be unavailable at any time. Results may be incomplete, delayed, incorrectly matched, or unavailable when a source changes or cannot be reached.

VinylData is not the seller and does not provide checkout, shipping estimates, tax calculations, or collection appraisals. Always open the retailer listing and verify the release, condition, total cost, availability, and retailer terms before buying.

Retailer websites

VinylData links to independent record stores and other third-party websites. Those sites control their own content, products, prices, privacy practices, terms, and transactions. VinylData is not a party to a purchase made through a retailer link and does not guarantee a retailer's products or service.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse VinylData, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, overwhelm its sources, or use the service to violate a law or another party's rights. VinylData may limit or suspend access when necessary to protect the service, its sources, or other visitors.

Ownership

VinylData's name, interface, software, and original content belong to VinylData or the applicable rights holder. These terms give you permission to use the service; they do not transfer ownership of the service or its content. Retailer names, images, and listing information remain subject to their respective rights.

No warranties

VinylData is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, VinylData makes no warranty that results will be complete, accurate, current, uninterrupted, secure, or fit for a particular purchase decision. You use comparison results and third-party links at your own judgment.

Changes and termination

VinylData may change, pause, or discontinue part of the service at any time. These terms may also be updated as the product changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. Your continued use of VinylData after an update means the updated terms apply to future use.
